Most Recent Memorable Experience

Spring Break 2011 - I was surprised when I saw that the Winne the Pooh ride and the Haunted Mansion had gotten new queues and that the Hitchhiking Ghosts were redone since I had heard of none of this.

More New Stuff

Also, the construction on the new animation resort across the lake from Pop Century was well underway which I was also surprised by. The Flower and Garden Show at EPCOT was great.

Biggest First

My first rollercoaster-Gadget’s Go Coaster at Toontown, Disneyland.

Special Events

During the Year of a Million Dreams at Disney World I got a special pair of mouse ears for free as part of that celebration; I went two times to Disney World that year and each time got a pair of ears that had a different design each time.

More to come on this event

The millennium celebration at EPCOT—inside the special pavilion for the celebration there was a miniature golf area in Scotland and there was another area where kids could work together to shift a ball through a big maze.

Unique but scary

Hurricane Charlie. When we went to EPCOT that day they were wrapping the doors to the ticket offices with large plastic wrap. In the park they had the popcorn carts strapped down. When we got back to the room people were coming around to all the rooms handing out flashlights to each room in case the power went out. Luckily the power never went out, but the next day there was quite a bit of destruction.

Absolutely Most Memorable

Happiest Celebration on Earth at Disneyland: one morning when Dad and I were going toward Mickey's Toontown first thing we rode in the golden Dumbo and got to hold the Magic Feather; then we rode in the golden teacup, and then we saw that Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy were all standing together so we got a picture with them. We finally made it to Toontown and saw that it was not open yet.

Best Halloween Ever

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party 2006. I dressed up as a doctor; there were trick or treating stations all around the park to get candy; and we saw a special Halloween parade.

Nothing Else Like It

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party other years and 2009. Some of my favorite things were seeing it snowing on Main Street, USA; seeing the special Christmas parade; getting sugar cookies and hot chocolate; getting a commemorative button; and seeing some of the shows.
